Book Summary
Have you spent most of your life struggling with physical and emotional suffering?
Does the food you eat led to addiction? Does that addiction contribute to poor sleep? And does that poor sleep limit your ability to create a better life?
As a human like me, you may relate to the challenges and concerns I share throughout my adventures. My hope is that my experiences will offer insight, encouragement, and the proof, that better health and happiness are very possible.
I am basically a human with 62 years of experience. Along the way, I was blessed to overcome many challenges that eventually led to the relief of 21 symptoms of sickness, the reversal of 11 diseases, and the elimination of 16 medications.
These are my adventures in The Pursuit of Health — from childhood to adulthood, from health to sickness, and from sickness back to health.
If you are one of the 125 million Americans who, like me, have experienced a lifetime of sickness, illness, and disease, HUMAN 102 may offer you a moment of reflection, a moment of hope, and a path toward a lifetime of health and happiness.

Long Bio
Sam Mussallam is a human being, a care provider, and the author of HUMAN 102: The Pursuit of Health. With two wonderful experiences, Sam has become a very passionate advocate for Lifestyle Medicine and the Whole Food Plant-Based Lifestyle.
Sam is on a mission to deepen the connection between practitioners of Lifestyle Medicine and enthusiasts of the Whole Food Plant-Based Lifestyle, with the millions of patients just like him who have struggled with a lifetime of sickness, illness, and disease.
Sam discovered Lifestyle Medicine and the Whole Food Plant-Based Lifestyle in 2016, which led to an incredible health turnaround and helped him overcome many challenges, resulting in the relief of 21 symptoms of sickness, the reversal of 11 diseases, and the elimination of 16 medications.
But for Sam, the best was to be a care provider for his mother. With the guidance of their Lifestyle Medicine doctors, Sam's mother, who was in her late 80s, fully reversed chronic kidney disease and significantly reversed Alzheimer’s disease.
